The Substance: Margaret Qualley and Demi Moore to play the same character
Plot
Margaret Qualley and Demi Moore are in talks to star in The Substance. The French film is being directed by Coralie Fargeat, who previously helmed the 2017 revenge thriller Revenge.
The film is described as a "sci-fi thriller" and will follow a woman (Qualley) who is given the chance to become a better version of herself (Moore). However, she soon discovers that there are sinister consequences to her decision.
Qualley is currently starring in the Showtime series The Leftovers. Moore is best known for her roles in films such as Ghost, Indecent Proposal, and G.I. Jane.
The Substance is scheduled to begin production in early 2023.
